This blog exists to provide Democrats and Liberals with clear, hard, concise branding of the political opposition. We believe that only with this kind of framing will the Democrats overcome the GOP advantage in money and media and consistently win elections. We invite you to use our messaging at the water cooler, in the press release, at the lectern, in the campaign or just to shut up the father-in-law at Thanksgiving (especially to shut up the father-in-law at Thanksgiving). If you like it use it, and please, share it. And please, play-hard-ball.

Constant Refrain

In a Facebook post today, Sarah Palin promoted her record as governor of Alaska, claiming she made government regulation of oil drilling a “constant refrain"

Yeah, well, thing is sane people remember Palin's constant refrain to be "drill baby drill." On top of that, deregulation is a cornerstone of Republican public policy. This is especially true when it comes to big oil. Even people in Bangladesh know the GOP power structure has been one with big oil for decades. While notable for its brazenness, this kind of pathological behavior is nothing new to Sarah Palin or the rest of the GOP. What we want to know is how anybody buys this garbage and who casts their ballots with this crowd.
